Get logs without actually downloading the code

Hi Karl,

Is there any way to get the logs from a repository remotely without actually doing Pull over the repository. I'm using incomming instead, but I'm having problems with the filters by revision.

Thanks!

Unfortunately, unless you have one of the few different web servers that host Mercurial, and can look at the logs through that, you're only option is pull or incoming, which basically does the same thing, in regards to talking to the server.

I'm not quite sure I understand what you mean by "filters by revision".

Hi,

Sorry about your name :)

What I need is basically to get for instance last 100 commits.

Thanks!

Well, unfortunately it is not possible.

You will have to clone the repository down to your local machine and inspect the log there.

Or, you can access the web server that hosts the repository (if there is one) and browse through the logs there.
